TRS-80 Model 102 - Hands on with one of the 1st "laptops"

The Model 102 was a minor update to the original Model 100.

Hands on with a Radio Shack / Tandy TRS-80 Model 102.  One of the first laptop computers.  Ever.  32k of RAM.  Runs for 20+ hours on AA batteries.  Mechanical keyboard that is a joy to type on.  Built-in 300 baud modem.  A truly fascinating device that is, crazy enough, fairly usable -- over 30 years after it was built.

Note: This video was originally recorded in 2018 and is presented here, unedited. Including advertisements from the time. Because historic computer ads are cool and should be preserved.
