I'm ashamed that I was a contributor of Wikipedia in the early years. Later I had the urge to correct a typo or do a better style of a reference or to add a category when I visited the site, but I resisted. I haven't logged in for at least 10 years and I exclude Wikipedia in my internet searches. I only check on Wikipedia to see if another source is either copying them or vice versa.
Wikipedia might be okay to learn about a species but also maybe the particular article you are reading is false. Anything slightly political on Wikipedia is just garbage and the administrators are defending it.
