Pretty amazing, right? The Zoomer -- which certainly had some weak points -- had features that many mobile platforms could only dream of 10, 20, even 30 years later. Truly astounding.

I'm wondering the same thing. I practically lived at Radio Shack in the 70s. I owned a TRS Model 1, 4p and 100. Also Coco and Coco2 before moving on to Atari and then PC clones. I don't recall ever seeing this.

I worked at Radio Shack around this time. It was fun to play with, but I don’t remember actually selling any.

It was $600 and definitely ahead of its time. Nobody knew what to do with it.
