Hey Brian, I used to Mud a lot. My favorite was Vampire Wars, I never found one besides it that caught my interest as much. I couldn't get into the strong role playing ones, I more or less treated it like a social network where we battled each other occasionally. I loved the clan/guild systems also.
Interesting side story. In 2004 I was in a battle in Iraq, bad things happened, years later I was at a reunion and a guy from another company that I didn't know previous to the reunion but was in the battle, was like "You the Tim that was playing Vampire Wars?" like a 2 decades after the fact. Before we were brothers in war, we were brothers in clan war years before on a MUD.
