The First Lunduke Journal Founding Member Hangout... a success!
So much fun. We're definitely going to be doing more of these!
We just wrapped up the very first “Lunduke Journal Founding Member” hangout… and it was absolutely awesome to spend some time getting to know all of you!
A few of the things I learned from all of you today:
When you say “OS 9”, that means different things to different people.
There were more “Microsoft Office 365” subscriptions than people in the hangout. (Seriously! lol!)
Sound doesn’t always work well under Linux. (Surprise!)
There aren’t many Pascal programmers out there… but the ones that are here are super cool.
All in all, a relaxing time… hanging out with friendly nerds.
A lot of folks couldn’t make the time today (due mostly to work and time zone differences), so we’ll be having another one a little over a week from now to try to accommodate as many people as possible — and these are going to be a regular thing going forward.
This is just for those of you who subscribe at the Founding Member level (which has some fun perks, like these hangouts). Just a way of saying “Thank You” for all the support you’ve shown to The Lunduke Journal.
(And also… because this community is just so much fun to hang out with. Pretty sure it’s as much fun for me as for anyone.)
What makes the Founding Members so extra cool: These cool cats chip in a few extra bucks to help drive down the cost of the regular subscription level. It is entirely because of them that the current cost of a yearly subscription to The Lunduke Journal is down to $1/month. They made that happen. Because they are awesome.
If you want to join the next one — and get the Founding Member perks like: your name in the credits of the upcoming “Lunduke’s Quest” adventure game, complimentary access to the Lunduke Journal Locals Community, among other goodies — simply follow these instructions to get signed up.
