I am now fascinated, however, because what crazy software and hardware engineering had to happen to create a concurrent multi-user, multi-tasking operating system on a z80? Even if it was slow as a snail, to make something usable in that constraint is almost BillG-Model-T levels of insane.

It’s clear why they all look like that - they paid so much for the injection molding tooling they had to use it since they couldn’t afford to redo it!
