If the idea is a non-woke distro you could just do OpenMandriva instead. Since yes this is a super nerd hyperland based setup which will not appeal to me and many others. Instead something like OpenMandriva is much more appealing like with KDE plasma. And I suppose Devuan too. Floating windows managers that have a lot in common with say windows vista / windows 7 appeal to me. But I'm a younger generation than lunduke. So for sure an old style, but also plasma is customizable so I can change it to my liking as well.
DHH pronounces it as "Arch" (Arch Linux or the curved symmetrical structure) not "archy" like anarchy.

What I like about Omarchy is that I can mess around with a tiling window manager without needing to mess with my main machine. As a sysadmin, tiling WM's don't work that well, and I don't want to spend a ton of time getting one up with all the customizations I might want, so Omarchy is a fast track to being able to test one out.
