The Lunduke Journal is almost self sustaining!
This is a huge moment for The Lunduke Journal... and you are a big part of it.
This is absolutely wild and wonderful.
In the 12 days since The Lunduke Journal launched on Substack, it already has over 1,500 subscribers (with another 3,500 subscribers over on Lunduke.Locals.com) — with some of the articles achieving readership numbers that many publications I have written for in the past would love to get.
What’s more, paid subscriptions to The Lunduke Journal (both on Substack and Locals) are extremely close to making this nerdy publication 100% self sustaining. We’re less than 50 paid subscriptions away from that mark!
With a little help from all of you, we just might be able to achieve that goal in the next few days!
What that means:
The Lunduke Journal will never need to run any advertisements.
Likewise, we will never need corporate sponsorships.
Lunduke will never need to be distracted by writing (or recording shows) for others, or doing any type of consulting work. 100% focused on The Lunduke Journal! That means more Lunduke Journal content!
If you’ve been on the fence, now’s the time to take the plunge with a monthly or yearly subscription — either here on Substack or over on Lunduke.Locals.com.
Every subscriber, besides gaining access to exclusive articles, will get a free copy of my new book: “Linux Sucks: The rise, and inevitable fall, of the world's greatest operating system” when it launches next week!
PLUS — You can download, right now, three totally different eBooks. A kids book about Linux, a book of historical Linux-y articles, and a computer satire collection. All a perk for subscribers. Because you’re awesome.
A HUGE thank you to everyone who has already subscribed! All of you nerds are absolutely amazing. I owe each and every one of you the biggest of high fives!
Now, the rest of you hurry up and subscribe so I don’t need to talk about subscriptions any more! ;)
This is good news!
