Space Quest: The Movie

The original, EGA adventure game from Sierra... turned into a movie. Seriously. This is worth checking out.

This is absolutely, adorably excellent.

A group of fans of Space Quest (the classic adventure game series from Sierra) have turned Space Quest 1 (the original EGA version) and turned it into a half hour long “movie”.

They took actual game-play and scenes from the game and edited it all together — complete with voice actors — to turn the entire game into something you can watch while eating a bucket of popcorn.

Love it. I’m a huge fan of Space Quest and you can really feel the love of the game in this movie.

Well done to the Space Quest Historian and the rest of the crew!
