Sir Clive Sinclair, creator of the ZX Spectrum, has passed away

Sir Sinclair also invented the first slimline pocket calculator, and launched an electric car.

Terrible news today. Sir Clive Sinclair has passed away, at the age of 81.

Sinclair was a brilliant and fascinating man. His contributions to computing (in the form of both calculators and the ZX Spectrum personal computer) cannot be understated.

His thoughts on A.I., and so many other topics, are worth reading.
