"Linux Sucks" The Book begins rolling out!
Every few days, a new chapter of "Linux Sucks" is published for Substack and Locals subscribers.
My new book, "Linux Sucks: The rise, and inevitable fall, of the world's greatest operating system”, is being published — chapter by chapter — starting today!
Subscribers to The Lunduke Journal here on Substack can read Chapter 1: “Linux Sucks?! How dare you!” right now. It can also be read over on Lunduke.Locals.com.
Later this week you will receive Chapter 2 (“GNU, Minix, and the before times”), followed by Chapter 3 (“Just a hobby”) a few days after that. (And so on.)
Every few days, a new chapter!
Why chapter by chapter? Why not all at once in a PDF?
The answer is simple, dear Watson! To keep the hype up!
After I announced “Linux Sucks”, a publisher quickly emerged that wanted to publish a print edition. Which is terribly exciting. We decided that it would be fun to release the book to Lunduke Journal subscribers, one chapter at a time, leading up to the official announcement of when orders of the physical book will open up.
Subscribers to The Lunduke Journal will get the full book (DRM-free, naturally) before the physical edition ships. Pretty stinkin’ rad.
So, go read Chapter 1. And enjoy Chapter 2 a little later this week!
Be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already! Don’t want to miss out! :)
