Animated ASCII fireworks in your Terminal for New Years
Lunduke's Holiday BASH Animations now has a "Fireworks" option.
Last week, I unleashed “Lunduke’s Holiday BASH Animations” with two ASCII animations for your terminal: a Christmas tree and a Hanukkah Menorah.
Well. New Years Eve is coming up.
So I’ve added a new animation to the BASH script to help ring in the new year: Fireworks.
A random number of fireworks, of random colors, taking random trajectories around your terminal. For as long as you want them to.
Enjoy.
LundukeHoliday.sh is darn easy to use. Grab it from the GitHub page. Then you have the following options:
bash LundukeHoliday.sh
This will show you an animated Menorah:
bash LundukeHoliday.sh Menorah
This will show the animated Christmas Tree:
bash LundukeHoliday.sh Tree
And this will show the Fireworks show:
bash LundukeHoliday.sh Fireworks
